For this project I had the task of developing the art direction for a fictional MET GALA theme.

I wanted to focus on a dystopian theme with a emphasis on the survival of fashion.

​

With the art direction I wanted to make it look like dystopian propaganda which is evident in the morse code and rough brush strokes covering the models eyes as well as the deep red colour.

​

I chose to cover the models eyes to resemble how the fashion industry has become blind to the reality of the industry and how the survival of fashion relies on unconventional designs that have not been done before.
